Our DCC Therapist work with individual adults, one-on-one to help them to help themselves. With each session, the hope is to discover, then reduce or eliminate, whatever it is that might be causing a patient emotional pain, anxiety, sorrow, or other distress or suffering.
Our goal is not to judge our patients, but to relieve their distress in the short term, and then guide them toward long-term solutions. Together, we will question irrational beliefs and allow time for self-discovery – which, in turn, leads to a person’s being able to make healthier decisions.
Modern therapy is a process. It requires us to listen to you and then help with suggestions, education, and an appropriate treatment plan aimed at identifying your goals and getting to the root of why you felt you needed counseling in the first place.
We will help you advocate for yourself. We will be there with you every step of the way. Once you decide you are ready to make changes, you will never be alone again.
